2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Review,Price,Feature

2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Review,Price,Feature

The 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show allowed Subaru to unveil the Impreza Design Concept, a preview version of the next generation Impreza. Based on that concept, Jonsibal has imagined what the WRX STI version would look like and we say, if the production version looks anything like this, it will surely be a success.

In addition to a security system with engine immobilizer and high-friction seat, the sturdy 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi receives the same updates as the regular WRX. A new steering rack a new helical-type limited slip differential, and wider 17x8-inch BBS alloy wheels come handy in helping the STi offer an improved performance. Whether it is the wider rear track, improved brake pedal feel, a new underbody shield adding stability at higher speeds or the aluminum rear suspension components, the 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi is equipped with the features and specs that appeal to its customers.

The 2012 STi has the reputation of being one of the best cars sold in the United States offering value for money. The redesigned front and rear styling enhance the look of the Impreza WRX STi. Outside, the front fascia features four high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps with smoke tinted lenses and distinctive STi fog light insert covers. Inside, the enlarged hood scoop in the aluminum hood feeds outside air to the intercooler. If your criterion when choosing a car is impressive performance, safety or comfort, the 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi fits the bill.

While Subarus have never been the most attractive cars on the road and the STI has always paled in comparison to its Mitsubishi rival, if Subie’s designers follow this path it might be the first time the EVO comes up short on the looks department.

2011 Porsche Cayenne Vantage 2 Review,Price,Feature

2011 Porsche Cayenne Vantage 2 Review,Price,Feature

2011 Porsche Cayenne Vantage 2 The Russian automotive beauty experts, TopCar, are taking yet another opportunity to remodel the new generation Porsche Cayenne by providing another package with exterior and interior updates. It is called the Vantage 2 and is basically the non-GTR version of the Vantage GTR2 provided by the same tuner.

For the exterior, the package adds a long list of carbon fiber elements, including a new front spoiler bumper, front fender extensions, and a new bonnet. More carbon can be found on the side skirts, rear spoiler, roof spoiler, rear fender wings, and diffuser with LED brake light strip. The package also includes a new set of wheels available in either 22" or 23" dimensions. The interior only gets cleaned up with hand-crafted leather and different aluminum insertions.

The Cayenne’s 4.8 liter twin-turbocharged V8 unit, which delivers 500 hp when it leaves the factory, has been convinced to allow the driver to play with no less than 760 hp. It seems like the tuner wants us to dream about its tech creation, as it hasn’t released the list of mods offered for the engine, nor has it announced the new performance data for the vehicle.

The Cayenne now wears a body kit that makes it more aggressive, with the list of exterior goodies including a front apron element, extensions for the front fenders, a new bonnet, side skirts, rear fender mods, a roof spoiler and a diffuser (the tuner has chosen to integrate the auxiliary LED brake light in the diffuser). All the aforementioned parts are made of carbon fiber and kevlar.
TOPCAR is ready to present the new aerodynamic body kit for the Porsche Cayenne Vantage GTR 2. The car is also elaborated in the vein of the off-road coupe using Porsche Cayenne 2 base.

In comparison with the original version the renovated Porsche gained the accipitral appearance and self-asserting nature. The whole fresh body shape forms with the front spoiler bumper obtaining menacing arrowy lines perfectly accompanied by the new bonnet, wide fenders and a rear spoiler bumper with a diffuser. The masterly implemented idea makes the car provide an impression of the infuriated beast of prey.

2011 Acura ZDX Review,Price,Feature

After being officially revealed for the 2010 model year, the Acura ZDX enters the 2011 model year offering the same level of luxury and performance. The 2011 ZDX will be offered in three trim levels: ZDX ($45,645), ZDX with Technology Package ($50,145), and ZDX with Advance Package ($56,195).

Designed as a competitor for the BMW X6, the ZDX features exquisite design elements consisting of a panoramic glass roof, hidden rear door handles, and bold fender flares. It is powered by a V6 engine that delivers 300 HP and comes standard with a Sequential SportShift 6-speed automatic transmission.

As several of our editors have reported, the ZDX is one of the more perplexing (and perhaps frustrating) packages in recent years. It's drop-dead gorgeous from some angles, yet it lacks practicality in some very basic ways, like adequate headroom or a cargo area that can take paper shopping sacks without obscuring visibility even more. All while the roofline itself is a little too tall, by some tastes, to be called a coupe. Even getting into the back seat is much harder than you'd expect due to the odd cutlines.

Price is likely part of the trouble, too. The ZDX from the start was priced a little too high for its target market—which we would think are younger stylistas: urban gallery owners, clothiers, and the like, as well as a few ad execs and creative directors.

Specifications

The 2011 Acura ZDX is a luxury four-door sedan with sleek styling on the outside and a variety of features including:

* Pricing: A $45,495 MSRP is expected for the 2011 ZDX
* Engine: The 2011 ZDX will be powered by the same 300 horsepower 3.7-liter VTEC V6 engine as the 2010 model.
* Fuel Economy: Fuel economy for 2011 will remain at 16/22 miles per gallon city/highway.
* Acceleration: Acceleration for the ZDX is average at 6.7 seconds for zero to sixty miles per hour.
* Transmission:6-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting option.
* Car Safety Features: Five stars across the line and in every category, the 2010 Acura RDX features a full complement of airbags, active front head restraints and new for 2011, a collision avoidance system.
* Warranty: Acura’s warranty is better than some, not as good as others at 4-years/50,000 miles.

2011 Mercedes E63 AMG

2011 Mercedes E63 AMG

Hailing from one of the GCC countries - Saudi Arabia to be exact - By Design Motorsport works with many different tuners to bring together an array of projects for everyone’s viewing and buying pleasure. We’ve already featured two Porsches, a 911 Turbo by Protomotive and a 997 TT Porschat Edition by BD Motor, but this next tuning project takes the trip from a different German company: Mercedes. By Design Motorsport (BD Motor) has just prepared a package for the Mercedes E63 AMG sedan that provides it with just a bit of aesthetic change.

Every experience we've had with Mercedes-Benz's new eighth-generation E-Class has been a positive one. From the near-stately luxury of the E350 and E550 sedans to the sporty thrills of the E-Coupe to the "ineffable joy"of the E-Cabrio, we've been big fans. Except we all seem to end our reviews saying something like this, "While there is no doubt that the [whichever E-Class] is a first rate automobile, we can't help but wonder what the AMG version would be like." Well friends, let me tell you.

It's like driving veal. No, the E63 AMG is smoother than that. It's like driving veal fat. Citroëns wish they had rides as glassy. Potholes, ruts, expansion joints (i.e. Interstate 5 near Downtown Los Angeles), it really doesn't matter what the road surface is like. The E63 wafts you over it in serene comfort. And should you (somehow) become uncomfortable, just switch on the massaging seat. The max setting is stellar. "Wait a second," you say, this is an AMG product. It's not supposed to be all soft and cushy. Well, I'm kind of pulling a fast one, because I'm talking about driving the E63 with all of the adjustable stuff turned off. This is also known as "Comfort" mode, and truer words have rarely been printed in an owner's manual.

2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe Review,Price,Feature

2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe Review,Price,Feature

The 2011 model from Nissan was indeed a surprise as just after the redesign that Nissan gave to its Z Coupe in 2009 there was not much more expected at such a short interval from the company. The model however was presented with little or no updates.

Upon introduction, the Base is equipped with a standard 3.7-liter, V6, 332-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The NISMO is equipped with a standard 3.7-liter, V6, 350-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard.

The 370Z and 370Z Touring are each available with a standard 332-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) and choice of 6-speed manual transmission with an available SynchroRev Match™ synchronized downshift rev matching system or a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Crisp handling is provided by a refined 4-wheel independent suspension.

The dramatic 370Z interior utilizes an innovative driver-centric three-layer design which groups items by how a driver sees information, operates the controls and is held in place – so drivers feel completely connected and engaged whenever and wherever they drive.

Under the hood there is the same 3.7 liter V6 engine with an output of 332 HP @ 7,000 rpm and 270 lb-ft of torque @ 5,200 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission.

The design for the Nissan takes some lessons right out of the 240Z style book with its sleek aerodynamic shape, a "dynamic motion" feel with a dramatic cantilevered roof, and a "low visual gravity." The interior offers Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System with 7-inch VGA touch-sensitive display, 9.3GB HDD Music Box, USB connectivity and iPod connection, XM NavTraffic with Real-Time Traffic Information, RearView Monitor, automatic phonebook download (select phones) and Bluetooth Streaming Audio, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, and standard Nissan Intelligent Key.

2011 Nissan Cube Price ,Review,Feature

The Nissan Cube had been sold in Japan since 1998, and it had developed a cult following over there, but Nissan waited until 2009 to bring the third-generation Cube to the U.S.

The Nissan Cube has an unusual, asymmetrical exterior with a side-swinging cargo door and a rear window that actually wraps around one of the sides, plus beveled window frames all around; inside it's just as odd, with a lot of rounded design cues and a flowing interior design that was modeled after Jacuzzi tubs.

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices* (MSRP) for the 2011 Nissan cube include: Model/Transmission
cube 1.8 M/T $14,290 USD
cube 1.8 S M/T $15,650 USD
cube 1.8 S CVT $16,650 USD
cube 1.8 SL CVT $17,750 USD
cube 1.8 S Krom Edition CVT $21,190 USD

About the 2011 Nissan cube
The front-wheel drive cube is built on Nissan's proven B-platform and is offered with a standard 122-horsepower 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine and a choice of Nissan's advanced, smooth shifting Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) or 6-speed manual transmission.

Cube's roomy interior is designed as an inviting social space for up to five passengers, with comfortable front seating and a three-position sliding, reclining theater-style rear seat. Unique interior features include asymmetrical Fine Vision gauges, "Water Drop" interior accents and detachable multi-hooks. Available cube technology includes the Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, XM Satellite Radio (XM subscription required, sold separately), RearView Monitor and Interface System for iPod.

2011 BMW X6 M Review,Price,Picture

2011 BMW X6 M Review,Price,Picture

Akrapovic has been making its way down the sports car list, with tuning kits provided for the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Mitubishi Evo X. This time, however, the tuner has gone on to tuning something bigger: the BMW X6 M. So far, the secretive tuners have only released some images for the new project, but we imagine that this package will see some of the same updates as the previous ones.

A standard BMW X6 M is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 555 hp at 6,000 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque from 1500 to 5,650 rpm, but with the new exhaust system we expect to see a power increase of at least 10 HP. The new exhaust system will also be lighter by at least 14 kilos in turn making the SUV lighter. Combine all of this with a red exterior paint, a new set of wheels painted in black, and the black color of exhaust system and we get the perfect X6 M.

But the BMW owners will be most interested in what Akrapovic has in store for them, so here it is: the Evolution exhaust system for the BMW M3. This exhaust has attracted the most attention because it is made one hundred percent from titanium, reducing the total weight of the car by almost 24 kg compared with the stock one. It features optimized link pipes, new muffler system and integrated resonators. And there’s an approximate 23 hp increase in power thanks to it. A boost in torque by 34.7 Nm is also present.

The Evolution exhaust system for the BMW M3 is compatible with the E90, E92 and E93 versions. But Akrapovic also produces exhaust systems for the BMW 335i, the M6 and the X6, so if you want to add a lighter exhaust and own these models, why not take a look at their offer.

Although traction control is standard, the M Dynamic Mode (MDM) greatly reduces the aggressiveness of the system. The MDM setting allows the driver to enter a controlled drift and push the vehicle's handling to the limit. There's also a DSC-Off Mode for drivers seeking a more purist experience.

2011 New Nissan March Review , Picture

The all-new Nissan March, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in, you guessed it, March) went on cut-rate sale in Japan these week. The March (or Micra, because it has acknowledged in Europe) are battery-powered along afresh category by eligible three-cylinder engines. The alkali normally-aspirated 1.2-liter are graded at 79 horsepower, and Nissan accepts as well annunciated a advanced and address came in edition that had better acquire across 100 horsepower.

Redesigned Nissan March Japan

Small rounded body design, fuel efficient, and various security features, Nissan March has everything what is needed from a city car. Especially easy to drive on the narrow road and look for parking plus a smooth and comfortable control.

Model that is stylish, easy to make people look. Unique exterior design with a long wheelbase, the wheels are visible in every corner of the vehicle. It is also believed to participate to improve manoeuvrability.

In terms of comfort, given the European version of the March retreat and parking space sensor measurement (PSM) recently with three skill levels (amateur, normal and sly). This unique feature to overcome when parking in narrow places and it seems this has been a popular innovation in Europe.

European variants will get a derivative of the engine, designated HR12DDR. This is a direct-injection Miller-cycle engine with a supercharger that is automatically switched off at lower speeds to conserve fuel. The 1.2-liter three-cylinder is fitted with an idling-stop system and is designed to emit an ultra-low 95 g/km of CO2, while providing power equivalent to that of a normally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

Nissan said the new March in Japan will be priced from $11,500 to $18,990, including tax.

Review Nissan March 2010

Review Nissan March 2010

The Nissan Micra is an automobile produced by Nissan. It is known in Japan and Taiwan as the Nissan March. It is built since 1982 and has had three distinct model generations.

The original Micra, framename K10, was introduced in October 1982 as a competitor to the highly successful Honda City, was intended to replace the Cherry as the company's competitor in the supermini segment, as the Cherry model itself had progressively become larger with each successive generation. It was introduced in the European market in 1983 and in Canada in 1984. Although Nissan were slowly phasing out the Datsun name, a small "Datsun" appeared on the tailgate for the first two years, and in some European markets, the car was known as the "Datsun-Nissan Micra". The Micra was initially available with an extremely refined all aluminium MA10S SOHC engine. The Datsun badges had disappeared completely by the end of 1984.

Indeed, though that engine won’t be introduced to Europe until 2011 – when it does it will make 96bhp and, combined with a stop-start system, only produce 95g/km CO2. Without the stop-start system or direct injection, the N/A European version produces 79bhp and achieves 115g/km. And with a different compression ratio and different fuel, the Thai engine has a negligible 1bhp less and emits 120g/km CO2.

We just hope the European engine, especially in supercharged guise, will be better. We were hoping for something smooth and sweet spinning, but the new 1.2 actually feels rough and rather restrained, and despite the kerbweight the March is pretty slow in any gear.

Speaking of which, the engine is mated to either a five-speed manual (which is notchy, noisy and has a long throw) or a CVT, which is much better. The CVT ‘box is all new, a boon around town, and without any of the whine that usually accompanies such gearboxes.

2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Preview,Price,Feature

2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Preview,Price,Feature

We don’t care who you are; everyone has to love the Camaro Z28. This gorgeous piece of machinery looks and sounds like a dream and now Chevrolet has gone and made it even better. How much better, we don’t know yet, but luckily we have the artistic abilities of Jon Sibal on every car lover’s side. Sibal has prepared a rendering of the muscle car classic using all of the rumored characteristics the 2012 Camaro will most likely receive. Thanks to him, we are all getting a piece of drool-worthy treasure to gaze at.

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 will feature a 6.2L LSA V8 engine, even though the Corvette ZR1’s 638 hp LS9 was cruising around the rumor mill for awhile. The awesome news regarding the new Camaro’s engine is that it will more than likely feature more than the 556hp found in the Cadillac CTS-V. Stooping power will come from the 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers.

New details of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 have surfaced recently as the hardcore version has been spotted again doing test runs. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is expected to hide under its Transformers skin a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 monster that will spit out around 550 hp. Some rumors say the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 could get even more extreme by having the same LS9 engine from the Corvette ZR1 which is good for 638 hp. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is expected to offer a below 4 seconds acceleration time to 60 mph and a limited top speed of around 155 mph.

Luckily, in another sticker-related misstep, someone opened the door and revealed one of the most poorly placed communiqués we’ve ever seen: a tag on the dash that confirms that this is a Camaro Z28—a vehicle often rumored but not officially announced. Even better, the sticker reveals that this mule is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 backed up by a six-speed automatic transmission. Chances are very good that this is the Cadillac CTS-V’s LSA powerplant, which is rated there for 556 hp and 551 lb-ft of torque, as opposed to the higher-powered LS9 V-8 from the Corvette ZR1.

2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge Review,Price

2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge Review,Price
We are still under the spell of the new 458 Italia and it seems that Ferrari is already preparing a new version. The 458 Challenge, according to these latest spy shots.

Taking a look at the picture you will notice a few changes compared to a standard 458 Italia. First, the car in the pictures is lower and gets wider side skirts, a revised fascia, and hood pins on the hood. The exhaust system is also changed and there is a roll cage on the interior. The car seems to be in prototype stage as it looks unfinished and unpolished, but the intention is clearly there.

Stay tuned for more photos as we are sure they will be delivered to us sometime this week. Why is that? The Ferrari 599 GTO launch is this week so as the buzzing of journalists swarm Ferrari, we are sure they will snap a few great pics to dazzle us. Whether Ferrari will provide the opportunity to photograph the Challenge or the carparazzi snags the opportunity is still up in the air!

Another first for a Ferrari Challenge model is the adoption of the F1-Trac traction control system, the most sophisticated of its kind. Developed in-house by Ferrari, the F1-Trac system constantly monitors levels of grip for maximum high-performance road-holding. Two specific track-biased calibrations - wet and dry - have been developed for this application, with control logic and strategies derived from Ferrari's extensive racing experience in the F1 and GT championships. The F1-Trac is completely integrated with the E-Diff to guarantee maximum acceleration out of corners.

The required ABS, F1-Trac and E-Diff calibration settings are selected via the manettino on the steering wheel, the first time this solution has been adopted on a model developed for the Ferrari Challenge series. The driver can thus either chose from the WET or DRY configurations. In high grip conditions it is also possible to select CT-OFF to de-activate the F1-Trac traction control.

In the course of the intensive development sessions involved in honing the Ferrari 458 Challenge for the track, the engineers also managed to improve the car's lap time at Fiorano by two seconds over that of its predecessor, resulting in a new record of just 1'16.5". Equally impressive is the amount of lateral grip the new car generates - up to 1.6G.

2011 Porsche GT2 RS Review,Price.Picture,Feature

2011 Porsche GT2 RS Review,Price.Picture,Feature

Unless you were one of the lucky 500 that was able to make reservations for the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS, then this post will be all about looking at what could have been if we only had the money to actually buy one.

With a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 620 horsepower already prowling units its hood, the 911 GT2 RS already packs a very mean and powerful punch. But for some people, 620 horsepower just isn’t enough, so they set out to build a performance package for the Porsche beast to make it even more powerful.

The tuner's upgrades are concentrated on the 911 GT2 RS' 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer which benefits from a remapped engine controller, optimized turbochargers, a sport air-filter, new air-intake and a valve-controlled sport exhaust system along with sport catalysts.

These modifications bump output from 620 to 703-horsepower, while peak torque rises from 700Nm to an even more impressive 810Nm or 597.5 pound-feet. According to Wimmer RS, the powered-up 911 GT2 RS can now complete the sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds and pass the 200 km/h mark after just 9.5 seconds (stock model: 9.8 seconds), while continuing up to a top speed of 356 km/h or 221.2 mph.

The 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS price will start at 199,500 Euro in the Euro zone, and the car is also expected to arrive on the North America shores this October.

Porsche press release :

Stuttgart. The time: seven minutes, 18 seconds on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The power: 620 hp. The weight: 1,370 kilograms or 3,021 lb in road trim with all fluids on board. The car: the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The GT2 RS is making its world debut at the Moscow Auto Show on August 25th.

The future top GT model marking the absolute climax in the 911 range is the fastest and most powerful road-going sports car ever built in the history of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart. With power up by 90 hp and weight down by 70 kilograms or 154 lb in comparison with the 911 GT2, the new 911 GT2 RS has a power-to-weight ratio of just 2.21 kilos or 4.9 lb per horsepower,by far the best power/weight ratio in its class. Obviously, these are the ideal ingredients for an ultra-high-performance sports car with supreme agility, truly blistering performance on the road, and of courseexemplary Porsche Intelligent Performance. For despite this extra powerand performance, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions versus the 911 GT2 are down by approximately 5 per cent to 11.9 ltr/100 km (equal to 23.7 mpg imp) and 284 g/km.

There’s extra downforce from a taller rear wing and redesigned front spoiler. In the cabin, you get lightweight bucket seats, fabric door pulls and lots of alcantara.

Porsche is keen to point out that the GT2 RS is a deeply green car, returning 23.7mph and emitting just 284g/km of CO2 – better figures than the GT2 despite the increased power.

Just 500 GT2 RSs will be built, with prices starting at – one more big number for you – a whopping £164,000. That’s about £33,000 more than a regular GT2. We suspect potential owners shall not care.

The GT2 RS won’t be formally unveiled until August. We’ll get our hands on one as soon as possible and give you the full verdict. We are a little tiny bit entirely terrified at this prospect.

in the engine-house software. Two turbochargers have been optimized. And the air intake has been adjusted. Fine-tuning of the throttle valve and installation of the sport air filter makes a great contribution to inexhaustible power of the engine.

On the other hand, installation of a valve-controlled sport exhaust system along with sport catalysts play a decisive role in the never-ending forward thrust of the GT2 RS.All things considered, the power is available after the performance increase at WIMMER.

Racing technology not to be despised at 703 hp (Standard Performance: 620 hp) with maximum torque of 810 Nm. The top speed – depending on the tires – is breathtaking 356 km/h. No doubt, the two following performance characteristics may contribute to exciting conclusion that can stop mouths of any disreputable motor sports fan: The sprint from zero to 100 km/h is completed in 3.3 seconds and passes the 200-km/h speed limit after just 9.5 seconds.
