2013 Nissan Altima Concept

The latest Ferrari or Lamborghini doesn’t really need computer graphics to sell well. You could just show a picture of it and people in Saudi Arabia would wave their checkbooks at you. It’s a different story with boring sedans, no matter how efficient and well equipped they are. 2,500 rpm in a family sedan generally isn't a whole lot to get excited about. In fact, it's traditionally closer to idle speed than anything offering the possibility of real entertainment. But each and every one of those 2,500 revolutions in this 2013 Nissan Altima offers a frisson of excitement when whirling away in concert.  add up to 100 mph. In a four cylinder.

Starting at $21,500 and recognized as the best-selling Nissan in the line-up, the Altima continues to be offered with 2.5-liter engine with 182 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque, as well as a 3.5-liter V6 with 270 hp and 258 lb-ft. While changes to the engine aren’t dramatic, updates to the transmission come with 70 percent of the continiously variable transmission (CVT) components being redesigned with an expanded gear ratio, while friction has been cut by 40 percent to help free-up horsepower.

A high point of the old model thanks to a simple design and high-quality materials, the cabin has now been further upgraded with so-called “zero-gravity” seats that provide optimal support and help reduce muscular and spinal loads. Noise levels are down thanks to new sound-deadening materials. .

New Feature Mercedes CLS550 Black Bison Orange

Now, we’re turing out attention to a car wrapped for last year’s SEMA Show in satin orange vinyl from 3M. Once again, the car is fitted with the Wald International carbon-fiber body kit from Japan, nicknamed Black Bison. The most important improvement in the CLS is a new engine, a marvelous 4.7-liter, twin-turbo V8 that delivers 402 horsepower and an incredible 443 lb.-ft. of torque.

That’s up from 382 hp and 391 lb.-ft. of torque for the engine in the previous CLS550. (If you’re into speed you can always pay extra for the CLS63 AMG, which is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 rated at 510 hp, rising to 550 hp if you opt for the $6,990 AMG performance package.) The stereo allows about every audio source you could want. Mercedes-Benz adds Bluetooth audio streaming to its roster, which also includes iPod integration, the car's own hard drive, and HD Radio.

There is even a PC card slot, an odd little anachronism. But Mercedes-Benz has not jumped on the app bandwagon yet, so there is no Pandora or Internet radio integration. Despite pricing the CLS above the E, the majority of the interior bits and pieces are pinched from the E rather than the more expensive S, including the E’s fairly small COMMAND screen and controls. Also lifted from the E are the steering wheel, seat controls and window switches. Thankfully Mercedes borrowed only the high-rent parts for use in the CLS.

1979 Porsche 911 Turbo Review

We’re all aware of who Bill Gates is as he’s remained one of the richest people in the world for the better part of two decades. But just like any other successful businessmen, Gates started off with relatively humble beginnings studying at Harvard University in the early 1970’s, before founding the company which has made him so wealthy, Microsoft, in 1975. This car, a 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo used to be owned by mister Gates and is a true modern classic by al standards.

The car has hit the auction block soon, and we were be surprised it only sold for $80,000 in Vienna, the capital of Austria. Mechanically, this 930 is in perfect condition and runs and drives great. It a has very healthy six cylinder turbocharged engine that rockets this car to warp speed.

The manual transmission shifts flawlessly and makes this car a blast to drive. The motor compartment looks very clean and has always maintained. I just had the car looked at and checked over by a mechanic and it is ready to roll! The factory air conditioning unit was removed by the previous owner but is still intact and is included with the car. It can be easily put back on if the owner chooses to do so.

New Models 2013 Lexus ES 300h

The first generation Lexus ES has been unveiled in 1989 and 2013 model year marks both the introduction of the sixth generation, but also the first-ever hybrid model of the line-up: the ES 300h. As expected, the 2013 ES gets a take on the new Lexus spindle grille and front fascia first seen on the updated GS.

The bold new look includes larger headlights that incorporate L-shaped LED daytime running lamps along the lower edge. The side profile isn't particularly groundbreaking, although the hair-thin door panel gaps demonstrate the impressive build quality that's become a Lexus hallmark. Taillights also mimic the new GS, while the lower bumper is much more visually interesting compared to the previous model thanks to the subtle L-finesse design cues.

The ES gets the new Lexus spindle grille treatment and a 1.8-inch longer wheelbase, but changes to the sheetmetal aren't as dramatic as the upgraded cabin. The instrument panel now resembles the one in the GS, with a horizontal treatment and a big LCD screen, along with the love/hate Lexus Remote Touch Interface controller snuggling next to the gearshift in the center console. New seats boast a leather-alternative NuLuxe covering, although real hide is also available, along with premium semi-aniline leather. Somehow, Lexus has even managed to find an extra four inches of legroom up front.

New Concept Toyota GT 86

Now, after months of speculation on our part and hardcore testing on Toyota’s part, the Japanese company has finally unveiled the production FT 86, only it will be called the GT-86 instead. The new name was chosen as a tribute to Toyota’s GT car heritage and the exhilarating drivability of the Corolla Levin AE86.

The Toyota GT-86’s official debut will be made at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. The new Toyota GT 86 will cost from £24,995 when sales start in June. That is the entry, on-the-road price for the all-new sports coupe; further pricing and specification details will be announced nearer the time of launch.

On the design front, Toyota offers decorative racing stripes in matte black or matte silver for the hood, roof, boot and on the sides, along with carbon fiber mirror caps and a choice of 18-inch alloy wheels in matte black (€389), Himalayan Grey (€399) and the graphite "Ultraleggera" (€529) rims.
