F30 Alpina B3 Spesification

BMW has a very close relationship with Alpina, even offering the latter's special models through its own dealers and with full warranty. At least for now, the only Alpina model available through official channels in North America is the 7-Series-based B7 flagship, even though the German specialty brand has its own proposal for most BMW models.

With a stunning 410 HP output coming from a 3.0-liter straight 6-cylinder N55 turbocharge engine, the third-generation B3 Alpina has no less than 110 HP over the standard BMW 335i.

The F30 B3 will be powered by a twin turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, based on the current N55 twin-scroll single turbo giving out 420 horses; that’s way higher than the 3-Series F30 which offers 258hp from its ultimate trim. It will be offered in automatic transmission only and since Alpinas are traditionally top speed unlimited we should expect up to 300km/h from this one.

2013 Dodge Challenger Concept

Dodge Challenger R/T and SRT8 models will enter the 2013 model year with the addition of two new exterior colors: Plum Crazy and HEMI Orange combined with full-length dual center stripes. Dodge also offers a series of updates for both the exterior and the interior.

Dodge's 2013 Challenger R/T, R/T Plus, R/T Classic and SRT models will also be available in HEMI Orange, with those cars set to land in showrooms sometime in May.Prices for the retro-colored Challengers will range from $29,995 to $44,775, excluding a $995 destination fee. The appropriately-themed Challenger R/T Classic will list from $33,995.

Base SXT models get the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 instead of the available HEMI V-8s, but that really isn’t too much of a compromise these days. The V-6 versions still produce 305 horsepower, but come only with a five-speed automatic transmission. The combination is good enough to get the SXT version from 0-60 mph in under seven seconds, while returning an acceptable 27 mpg highway fuel economy.

Speaking of transmissions, it should be known that the manual found in the 392 is no five-speed, but a six-speed TR-6060 Tremec unit with a dial-disc high performance clutch - the same one tested to the limits in the 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10.

Alfa Romeo 4c Concept Racing

The Alfa Romeo 4C made its debut as a concept car at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. We will start with the bad news: while previous rumors suggested that the 1.7-liter turbocharged inline-four engines will deliver about 300 horsepower, it has now been confirmed that the 4C will, in fact, deliver a total of 237 horsepower.
The same source suggests the car will weight only 850 kg (1,874 lbs), though we're not 100% convinced Alfa Romeo had the money to develop such a light platform.

As for pricing, the Switzerland-based dealer stated that Alfa Romeo hopes to have a target price between $76,400 to $87,300 (€56,000 and €64,000). It is unlikely that pricing will be that high in America, especially if Alfa Romeo intends to be competitive with the Porsche Cayman, which has an MSRP of $52,600 in base form.

The 4C shares similar dimensions to the Lotus Elise S, but while the 4C concept weighed 850kg, the production model is likely to weigh in at around 1,000kg – slightly more than the Elise’s 924kg.
