Electric car the children's work on display at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2016. In the exhibition, the showcase Jakarta State Polytechnic flagship car named Warior.
For the students, this is the first electric car on display their works in one of the largest automotive exhibition.
"The first exhibition of us here feel very excited because it can show off our car show in front of the community. That they know this car work of the nation," said Imam Akbar, Jakarta, Friday (08/04/2016).
Then, the Imam said, the work of the nation in the form of electric cars that are energy efficient and use renewable energy it requires government support completely. In order, the students are able to develop automotive technology and creative assemble fueled cars are very efficient.
"From the government we have not been able to, but government support. While indeed we should ask, because they are not directly involved. In addition, we also work with sponsors from the outside," said Imam.
Imam also said, the ideals he was with friends at the Jakarta State Polytechnic want to make the car as an icon of the nation's children who have caring and forward thinking that fuels that exist today will be depleted even extinct to be used.
"We want to create an icon that this is the work of the nation's car that lacks support from the government. But, we still support bahwasannya fuel technologies has begun extinct and we have to really look for the future of renewable energy starting this electric car."
There are 8 works electric cars from 8 colleges namely, the Institute of Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology, University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Islamic University of Indonesia, Pasundan University, Bandung and California State Polytechnic Jakarta
