Toyota Harrier is rumored to be undergoing a change. The info was obtained from a car sale and purchase website in Japan, Sanko Auto.
The plan, the latest Harrier will be sold late this June as reported by Paultan, Friday (02/06/2017). The new Toyota Harrier is an 8AR-FTS 2.0 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, following the previous model sold today 3ZR-FAE 2.0 L NA and 2AR-FXE 2.5 L Atkinson used on the Harrier hybrid.
The turbo engine can generate 232 horsepower at 5,200-5,800 RPM with 350 Nm of torque at 1,650-4,400 RPM. The engine is also mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, 3ZR-FAE engine is equipped with Super CVT-i while its hybrid variant is e-CVT.
In the website is also said to be a turbo variant LED headlights, 18 inch rims, interior red and black leather seats as well as standard. While in other models Harrier offered with TRD and Modellista.
About safety, the Japanese manufacturer is pinned Toyota Safety Sense P on all models including the collision prevention system with pedestrians and also other vehicles. There is also a dynamic radar cruise control and a warning if it has changed path or lane departure alert with a steering assist function.
