Manufacturers of electric cars from China, Startup Qiantu, want to expand the market by bringing an electric sports car K50 Sports to United States (US). Chairman Startup Qiantu, Lu Qun, said that his company has built dozens of K50 Sports and has been undergoing testing. "We pointed to the US because it is an open market, where we see opportunities for our car," said Qun, as reported by the Carscoops, Friday (09/02/2016). Meanwhile, to date Startup Qiantu yet to announce the sale price for the China market. Qun said, "The price of electric cars will be much more affordable than Tesla." The car is equipped with two electric motors able to issue a maximum power of 408 hp and peak torque of 650 nm. Through the power of it enables K50 Sports accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 200 km / h. Although not divulged the battery capacity, the Startup Qiantu claimed K50 Sports can reach 300 kilometers on a single charge.
