Even more so when we talk about Countach, the model considered by many both an icon and a stepping stone for the car maker.

Art & Tech dropped its plans for a production model, as it only found the means to an engine for just the one show car. This engine was a mid-mounted, 5.2-liter with an output of 455 horsepower. The second unit was left with no engine and is currently on display at a museum in France , leaving the Sogna as a one-off model.

 I think this is the craziest Lamborghini ever to be made. Period. There is very little information available about this car other than the it’s only got 1118 miles on the clock and is up for sale at a crazy price of €2,380,000 or roughly £1,900,000 if my mind serves me correctly. 

Only two units of the Sogna were built but not by Lamborghini as the cars were made by Art & Tech. Hiding underneath the peculiar green skin is the Countach with an aluminum body and a centrally-mounted 5.2-liter engine outputting 455 HP (335 kW) sent to the rear axle through a five-speed manual gearbox which grants the supercar with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is heading to dealerships now, which means it's a perfect time to start salivating over the prospect of an even more extreme take on an American classic: The 2015 Corvette Z06. These spy photos give us a hint at what to expect when Chevy gets around to announcing the car. 

 The Dodge Challenger will soldier on for at least one more year, as confirmed by prototypes of a facelifted version. While Challenger fans may be disappointed to learn that a new model is still some time off, the good news is that the facelifted Challenger’s SRT variant will receive a new supercharged HEMI with more than 600 horsepower on tap. 

As it currently stands, almost no information has been released concerning the specs of the 2015 Corvette Z06 besides its name. Much speculation was held concerning whether Chevy would keep the Z06 moniker or move on to the Z07. Fortunately for traditionalist, Chevy has yet to patent the Z07 label and thus will maintain the Z06 model for the 2015 Corvette. 

While stats and performance figures remain under wraps, we expect the new Z06 to pack as much as 600 horsepower from a V-8 engine of some sort rumors include a twin-turbo 4.5-liter and normally aspirated 6.2-liter and 7.0-liter options in addition to the supercharged version.

The X-Bow (pronounced crossbow) is a minimalistic, ultra-lightweight sports car developed by Austrian motorcycle builder KTM. Intended for the most hardcore of enthusiasts, the mid-engined X-Bow is essentially a racecar for the street complete with blistering acceleration, razor-sharp handling and few creature comforts. 

Although KTM has yet to reveal much about the KTM X-Bow GT, the following images show a prominent wraparound windscreen and doors, both of which are completely new components for any X-Bow. In addition to these upgrades, the KTM X-Bow GT is rumoured to receive a removable roof panel which can be used as speeds of up to 80mph. 

The updates include a especially designed turbocharger, a new sports exhaust system with a 100-cell sports cat with Y-pipe, a high-pressure fuel pump, a pre-feed fuel pump, a sportive suction system and a special water pump to keep things cool. Rounding out the mods its the required ECU to keep it all working flawlessly. 

The X-bow’s underbody comes with a completely flat work surface that enables air to slip beneath the car with no creating any move. Also supporting is the huge downforce that will the X-Bow GT’s physique work generates, which somme 200 kilogram (440 pounds) from 200 km/h (124. 3 mph). Using this new physique, the X-Bow will definitely pack more weight, in case it absolutely was to are the reason for customer opinions, it may be weight that appears to be well worth incorporating.

The all-new Maserati Ghibli marks a turning point in Maserati's history.  Maserati outfits its sexy sedan with one of four engine choices: a top-trim 404-hp, 3.0-liter bi-turbo V-6 in the Ghibli S rear-driver and all-wheel S Q4, a 326-hp tune of the same engine for the rear-drive-only base Ghibli. Europe gets a V-6 turbo diesel in one of two flavors; no V-8 engine will ever see duty in the Ghibli from the factory. 

The interior is refreshingly simple, with few buttons on the center console and little complexity. You'll go hunting for the Chrysler family start button on the right side of the steering wheel the first time you climb in the car, and you'll note that most of the Ghibli's plastic switchgear is also Chrysler stuff. Still, that's offset by the beautiful natural wood trim on the Ghibli S. 

The chassis of the Ghibli sedan is mostly steel, but the front clip is built around an aluminum casting with a reinforced cross-strut to save weight and add rigidity. Further weight savings are achieved with a cast magnesium dashboard frame and lightweight aluminum alloy skins on all four doors and the hood. Maserati says the standard Ghibli (3,950 pounds) has perfect 50/50 weight distribution. The slightly heavier all-wheel-drive Ghibli Q4 (4,125 pounds) is calculated at 51/49 percent.

Nissan has taken the wraps off the 2014 e-NV200 commercial vehicle ahead of its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month. Based on the e-NV200 concept that was unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, the production version of the electric van will become available next year. 

Interior pictures were not released but Nissan says the e-NV200 will have an advanced telematics system and a rear power supply that can be used to provided power for outdoor events or emergency situations. 

Compared to the regular NV200, the e-NV200 sports a heavily modified front fascia, which includes bluish front and rear lighting units, and a Leaf-type charge-port cover instead of an upper grille. The interior is fitted with a dedicated and futuristic instrument cluster that looks a lot different from the standard NV200’s. Remember, however, that this is a concept car, and when the e-NV200 sees production, its cockpit might look closer to that of the gasoline-powered version. 

The e-NV200 is the second vehicle to be introduced to Nissan's line-up of zero-emission vehicles. The new electric light commercial vehicle is based on the award-winning NV200 van, which is also built in Barcelona . The new zero emission model combines the architecture of the NV200 wîth the electric drivetrain from the world's best selling electric vehicle, the Nissan LEAF. The resulting vehicle has been engineered to have its own unique character and appearance, while retaining the class leading load space of the combustion engined van.

Subaru has announced that it will point to the future of its mid-size Legacy Sedan, with the appropriately named Legacy Concept, at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month. The show car will celebrate the model’s 25th anniversary and point to the look of the next-generation 2015 Subaru Legacy, which is expected sometime in calendar year 2014.

The new Subaru model delivers more excitement in driving and more comfort for the passengers. In addition it is equipped with the new generation Horizontally-Opposed Boxer engine, thanks to which the fuel economy is improved.The exterior design of the vehicle conveys stability and confidant stance. This is probably due to the headlamps with the motif common with other Subaru vehicles and a hexagon grille. 

Specifications on the engine are yet to be mentioned. The overall exterior measurements have been announced though, with a length of 4930mm, a width of 1940mm, and a height of 1500mm. The concept also features 21-inch alloy wheels. 

Underneath, the Legacy's structure was stiffened at a few key points for added rigidity. A larger diameter rear sway bar and increased spring and damper rates and stiffer bushings are said to quell body roll by up to 40 percent. The tweaks result in more responsive handling dynamics while preserving the outgoing model's cushy and comfortable ride.

The 2014 Honda Civic coupe strives for a more athletic appearance this time around, featuring a bolder nose, a stronger fender line, and new wheel designs. One of the major goals for the new Honda Civic coupe is to differentiate itself from the tamer sedan, and this effort can be seen particularly in the contoured rear bumper and unique top and bottom taillights. 

Owners of manual-transmission CR-Zs can now have Honda install a 200,000 rpm Rotrex centrifugal traction-drive supercharger mated to a Griffiths air-to-air intercooler. A respectable 57-horsepower increase is expected, bringing total horsepower to 187 ponies, while fuel consumption remains at 42 mpg. Other modifications to the CR-Z includes a performance exhaust, suspension upgrades, a wheel and tire package, and a big brake kit. Not bad for a hybrid. 

Tick the Supercharger Kit box at your local Honda dealer and it will also include high-flow injectors, an intercooler, and a high-flow air filter. A limited-slip differential and a sports clutch are options. HPD made it explicitly clear that the Supercharger Kit is only available for manual transmissions -- understandable, given the sporting intent. It comes dealer-installed, or one can choose to install it oneself if he or she is good with directions.

Jaguar's gorgeous C-X16 concept has already inspired one new production vehicle, the 2014 F-Type convertible, and Jaguar just gave us a glimpse of the second. The all-aluminum 2015 F-Type coupe will go on sale in spring 2014. 

With a starting price of $69,875, the base-level F-Type boasts a 340-hp supercharged 3.0-liter V6 capable of propelling the sedan to 60 miles per hour from a standing stop in 5.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 161 mph. The base-level F-Type also includes a 10-speaker Meridian audio system, sport exhaust, leather upholstery and a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel with shift paddles. 

The new Jaguar F-Type Roadster is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter, V-6 engine that delivers a total of 340 horsepower in its base setup and 380 horsepower in the F-Type S. Topping out the F-Type range is the V8 S model that uses 495-horsepower, V-8 engine. 

 The hard-top version of the F-type will go on sale in spring 2014, a year after the convertible version was launched. Jaguar is yet to confirm whether the coupé will be available with the same range of engines: V6s with either 335- or 375bhp, and a 488bhp V8.

Just as Jaguar teased earlier this month, the luxury marque is debuting its first-ever sports crossover concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, which begins this week. In addition to previewing what a soft-roading Jag might look like, the C-X17 concept also showcases the brand's new advanced unibody aluminum architecture, which it calls the future of its brand. 

Fully revealed at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the new crossover concept is underpinned by a brand new all-aluminum platform. Jaguar declined any other details regarding the vehicle, but a test drive video we reported about yesterday suggests the C-X17 is powered by the company’s supercharged V6 engine.

 The C-X17 concept is one example of the diversity of vehicles that could be produced using the modular, scalable new architecture. As a sports crossover, it combines the character and driving experience of a sports car with increased presence and flexibility - all imbued with the sleek lines and luxurious sophistication Jaguar is renowned for. 

Some of the concept-car whizbangery of the C-X17's blazingly white interior, however, is unlikely for production such as the Interactive Surface Console, a social media-friendly, touchscreen-based infotainment system. The four-passenger setup, and the tested, Meridian audio system, have a greater shot for production.

The 2014 Volkswagen Scirocco facelift has returned in a second batch of spy photos taken in the United States.The redesigned Scirocco is aiming to be a full-fledged sports coupe, which means it could lose some of its stylish design. It will however, remain a four seater with a large tailgate and plenty of cargo space in the trunk. 

It appears only the front section is receiving an update, despite the Scirocco being largely unchanged since its launch in 2008. Expect some sharper lines and a wedge grille similar to that added to the 2013 CC. The shape of the headlights will also be tweaked and will likely feature some new LED elements. 

 Other Vdubs which AutoBild say are coming by 2020 include the Phaeton for 2015, the T6 van and passenger van for 2015 as well, plus a roster of crossovers and SUVs, ranging from the Taigun to a 7-seater vehicle. They also say the next generation Polo is coming in 2015 and will have LED headlights. 

 Those reading that famous moniker as an indication of extra horses should look elsewhere; the GTS offers no extra power hike, and thus uses the familiar 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI petrol engine producing 207bhp. Which means a 0-62mph time of 6.9 seconds and top speed of 149mph. Would have been better with the 260bhp 'R' version, but at least you get a dimpled golf-ball gear lever knob.

The 2014 Nissan Pathfinder enters its second year as a seven-seat family crossover with a new model added: the first-ever Pathfinder Hybrid, a direct shot across the bows of the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Launched last year as a complete reinvention of the traditionally tough Pathfinder sport-utility vehicle, the current model comes with front-wheel drive as standard and sacrifices some towing and rock-crawling abilities for comfort and family-friendly features.

 Powered by a supercharged 2.5-liter gasoline engine and a 15 kW electric motor paired to a Lithium-Ion battery fitted under the third row of seats, the Pathfinder Hybrid is equipped with Nissan's Intelligent Dual Clutch System that allows the vehicle to provide "performance equivalent to the Pathfinder 3.5-liter gasoline V6 model. 

The Pathfinder’s new Hybrid powertrain option will be available in three fully equipped trim levels SV, SL and Platinum Premium– when it joins the lineup in late summer 2013. It is expected to be priced at around just $3,000 more than Pathfinder 3.5-litre 4WD V6 models.

In a departure from the naturally-aspirated hybrid norm, Nissan’s new setup utilizes a supercharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder for gasoline-powered motivation. A CVT handles shifting duties, and a 15-kw electric motor sits between the engine and transmission with a pair of clutches to disconnect it from the system and conserve energy as situations allow. Nissan says the goal of the powertrain is to produce V6-like output without a commensurate appetite for fossil fuel.

if the MiTo is to be a true MINI challenger it has to appeal to the emotions of onlookers in a big way, and at the very least it also has to have exceptional driving characteristics. You can decide for yourself if the first part of that sentence rings true; in driving terms the MiTo does not have quite the sharpness of a MINI, but it's certainly a lot of fun. 

The MiTo’s handling gets slightly mixed reviews. Some praise the way it drives, describing it as fun yet comfortable, while others suggest a distinct lack of steering and ride precision for a car of this class. Comfort also comes under fire from some critics, suggesting that the ride can be a little on the crashy side. 

For the 2014MY, the MiTo gains revised interior and exterior colors, a chromed front grille, titanium grey headlamp and tail lamps surrounds, plus upgraded dashboard plastics and a new five-inch infotainment system with voice recognition.

As the above image showcases, this particular prototype seems to be sporting a convertible roof. However, the photographer believes this could just be a ploy from Chevrolet to fool keen-eyed carparazzi from mistaking it as nothing more than the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible. 

Little is known about the next-gen Z06, but rumor has it the range-topping Vette is scheduled to arrive for the 2016 model year wearing a Z07 badge. Updates will include a sportier suspension, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and Michelin tires, while the tweaked V8 engine is expected to deliver 600 HP via a Tremec TR-6070 seven-speed manual.

 Motivation for the Z07 will be provided by a small block V8, but look for displacement to shrink compared to the standard car's 6.2L LT1. But power freaks need not worry the Z07's smaller V8 will be paired with a couple of turbos, resulting in a final output of about 600 horsepower.

 A model closer in specs figures with the upcoming Corvette Stingray Z07 is the recently launched 458 Speciale. The Italian supercar features the same 4.5-liter V-8 powerplant from the base 458 Italia, but tricked to deliver a total of 596 horsepower. With the extra power, the 458 Special will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in only three seconds and up to a top speed of 202 mph.

The sporty Acura TSX and TSX Sport Wagon return for 2014 with minor changes. The base TSX with a 201-hp I4 comes with a five-speed automatic transmission for $31,530, including destination. That’s a $125 bump from last year. 

Speaking of the Technology Package, the option features an LED backlit full VGA navigation screen, rearview camera, Song By Voice (SBV) user interface, and the ability to download 15-gigabytes of personal music to the TSX’s hard disk drive. The TSX remains based on the European-market Honda Accord, but its style is nowhere near as pedestrian as the U.S. model of the same name. 

The TSX is aesthetically very appealing inside and out particularly in wagon form though it does have its low points. A "bionic beaver" snout still feels like an odd introduction from the front to what's otherwise a crisply styled yet understated form. 

The dashboard is well laid out with independent controls in the center cluster for the audio and navigation system. Acura's control knob system was definitely superior to BMW's iDrive and Audi's MMI when it debuted several years ago. However, the user interface is starting to get long in the tooth both visually and functionally. Newer designs from Ford, BMW and Audi have higher resolution screens and easier to navigate menu structures, but it still serves the purpose and serves it well.

Kia has updated the Sportage compact crossover for the 2014 model year, which gets a new grille, an updated 2.4L four-cylinder and a few other upgrades. The Sportage's updated isn't a big change, but the bigger news is the updated base 2.4L four-cylinder, which is now more powerful thanks to the addition of direct injection.

 In the engine department, the crossover received a new 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder unit. The direct-injected powerplant was already on offer, but now it offers an extra 6 HP and 9 lb-ft (12 Nm) of torque, delivering a total of 182 HP and 177 lb-ft (239 Nm). The unit works with a six-speed automatic and, in front-wheel drive configuration, returns an efficiency of 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. 

In the interior the new Sportage R uses 4.2 inches color TFT LCD super vision cluster like in the latest Kia models (like in the K5), Flex Steer system with three Driving Modes (ECO, Normal and Sport). More details included are new alloy wheels design, an sporty package for the 2.0 T-GDi version (take a look to the blue Sportage pictures), front and rear heated seats (and also front ventilated seats), new sound system with 4,3 TFT LCD, UVO eServices, Tyre-pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), heated steering wheel, rear air vents, Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS). 

Speaking of standard features, the 2014 Sportage also gets a new tilt and telescopic steering column, rear ventilation and reclining outboard seats, on all trim levels. The mid-rage EX models also come with heated front seats, Infinity Premium Audio, auto-dimming mirror with Homelink and heated outside mirrors. Meanwhile, an available Premium package adds ventilated front seats, navigation with SiriusXM TrafficTM, leather-trimmed seats, panoramic sunroof, smart key with push button start, and power-folding outside mirrors.

The GMC Yukon gets updated powertrains, new fold-flat rear seats, and a trimmer new look for the 2015 model year, following a year after the truck brand's complete renovation of its Sierra 1500 pickup truck.

The new big SUVs are slated for showrooms first quarter next year as 2015 models. A 5.3-liter V-8 is standard in all but the Yukon Denali models, which get a 6.2-liter V-8 rated 420 horsepower and 460 pounds-feet of torque. 

Direct-injection EcoTec3 engines contribute to that effort, as well. For now, Suburbans and Tahoes get a 5.3-liter V8 producing 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. That's up 35 hp and 20 lb-ft over the 5.3-liter in the 2013 models of the trucks. The standard Yukon and Yukon XL get that same 5.3-liter, but step up to the Yukon Denali and you'll enjoy a 420-hp, 540-lb-ft 6.2-liter V8. All models share a six-speed automatic transmission. 

Such a long model cycle makes sense once you live a few weeks in the life of one of these luxury trucks. For most of the Tahoe’s and Sub’s out there, the key mantra really is Like a Rock. Just get the basics so right that buyers will forgive the shiny and nasty leathers, previous purple-power colored plastic interiors, and a thirst for fuel like a Nascar fan slamming morning beers in the infield.

 The interiors of the Chevy and GMC SUVs have been updated, as well. The prior Tahoe/Suburban and Yukon have never featured fold-flat third-row seats - just fold-and-flip seats – but all three now come standard with fold-flat second- and third-row seats, which can be equipped with an optional power-folding feature. Second-row passengers also get two inches more leg room. Multiple USB ports and power outlets are littered throughout their interiors, including one 110-volt, three-prong outlet. The Yukon also includes SD card slots.

Toyota’s 2013 RAV4 EV is the automaker’s second go round of converting its small gasoline powered sport utility to an electric vehicle. From 1997 to 2003, 1,484 RAV4 EVs were leased or sold. Of those, Toyota says approximately 449 are still on the road.

 Fashioned into a slab beneath the Fit's floor, the battery avoids impinging on interior room because the entire chassis has been elevated by 1.6 inches (reminiscent of the 1997 EV Plus, if you recall). To keep its underwear from showing, there are added rocker panels plus plastic eyebrows above the wheelwells. It looks better than it sounds. 

Exterior revisions compared to the gas-powered RAV4 include a revised front bumper, grill, side mirrors and rear spoiler in addition to a special underbody design that maximizes air flow around the vehicle. Earlier this year, Luca di Montezemolo said Ferrari won’t build any electric supercars as long as he’s the Big Kahuna in Maranello. On the other hand, the Italian company is looking to develop new hybrid vehicles. 

The brand’s first hybrid is the new LaFerrari supercar, recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Priced at over $1 million it mates a 789 hp 6.3-liter V12 engine to an electric motor, which adds an extra 162 hp for a total system output of 950 hp. 

The 60 kilogram battery pack in the cabin floor is charged during braking and also when the gas engine is producing more torque than needed to move the car, in which case that torque is converted to energy and stored.

Hyundai has revealed the 2014 Hyundai Elantra facelift in South Korea (where it known as the Avante). Changes to the car are mainly cosmetic, though the car does get some new features. Chrysler is making the unusual move of delaying the first media drives of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which were slated to start next week in Seattle. And while something like this is a rare occurrence, and one that most of the staff can't recall happening this publicly or so close to the event itself, it won't effect the actual on-sale date of the new Cherokee, which is set to hit showrooms in September.

The Japanese automaker, Honda has announced to launch the next-generation 2014 Jazz hatchback in September in Japan. The new Jazz is based on a completely new platform, which will also be used to develop next-generation City sedan and the Jazz based compact SUV. 

The Jazz Mugen is available in two variants – RS (orange car) and S (white car). Both the variants come with accentuated and aggressively styled bumpers with front splitters, a full body kit, diffuser, centrally mounted exhaust tip, vents on the rear bumper, roof mounted spoiler and 17″ multispoke alloy wheels. 

The exterior styling of the new Jazz is very sporty, the front grill and the headlamp cluster almost looks like that they are a single unit but actually they are not. The front grille of the Jazz is much more slicker and also has the Honda logo placed in the middle. The front headlamps looks sharp and almost like the headlamps from other Honda sedan the Civic.

The relaunch of the Datsun brand took a big step forward with the reveal of its new budget car, the GO. This compact, five-door hatchback will spearhead Nissan’s ambitions across some of the largest developing markets in the world, starting with India and Russia in early 2014. 

After gaining a virtual Cross version penned by X-Tomi Design, the Datsun GO was recently rendered as a sedan by famed automotive manipulator Theophilus Chin. He claims the vehicle was designed with the Indian market in mind, and at less than four meters long we also think a GO Sedan would make a competitive Honda Brio Amaze and Toyota Etios rival.

 The Datsun Go will be targeting the first time car buyers and will rely on its big car appeal to lure them. The hatchback will be rivaling the Maruti Wagon R, Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai Eon and the entry level variants of the Hyundai i10 and its own sibling the Nissan Micra Active. 

The Datsun GO is a very well proportioned and tastefully designed car. There is a nice balance to the GO’s dimensions and even with its low-cost focus the car has a sporty, dynamic character to it. The SVT Raptor is a high-performance version of Ford's venerable F-150 pickup truck that is one of the most unique and capable off-road production vehicles ever made. Now that we have seen the new generation Mazda6, the Japanese company is focusing on the development of the new generation Mazda3. The model is set to arrive late in 2013 or earlier in 2014 and will benefit from the company’s latest Kodo design language already seen in the new Mazda6 and the facelift version of the CX-9.

 Despite the redesigned body being 10mm shorter and sitting 15mm lower than the current model, the 2014 Mazda3 has increased interior space thanks to a 60mm extension to its wheelbase and 40mm increase in overall width. The longer wheelbase is due in part to re-positioning the front axle 55mm closer to the nose of the car to also improve its on-road dynamics. 

The next Mazda3, like the recently revamped 6, is a complete departure from the outgoing model, with virtually no lingering Ford DNA whatsoever. Following the anthropometric trend of gradually increasing size, the wheelbase stretches 2.4 inches to 106.3 and the width broadens by 1.6 inches, yielding 2.3 inches of front and 0.4 inch of rear shoulder room.

Dodge today announced that two new 2013 Dodge Dart “Special Edition” packages and a new Rallye Appearance Group are available in Dodge dealerships across the United States. The R8 V10 is the maximum performance version of Audi's Lamborghini Gallardo-based supercar. It shares its voluptuous sheetmetal and user-friendly nature with the standard, V8-engined model, but packs significantly more muscle 525 horsepower, to be exact. 

Aside from the additional horsepower, ABT has installed new suspension springs and coilovers, along with several exterior elements made from carbon fiber to lower the R8's weight. Changes include new front skirt and grille, side skirts, rear wing and rear skirt. The custom exhaust system is made from stainless steel, while standard wheels were replaced by 19-inch rims wrapped around in 235/35 R19 front and 305/30 R19 rear tires. 

The 5.2-liter V10 at the center of the supercar now delivers 600 hp and a peak torque of lb-ft (550 Nm). On the road, this is translated into a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h). 

The Plus comes with carbon ceramic discs as standard, which means you don’t have to worry about fade on the track. Fitting these – plus the bucket seats and carbon side blades – would add £12,000 to the price of the normal R8 V10, which is exactly the same premium you pay for the Plus. So, effectively, the mechanical tweaks are free.

The new Peugeot 308 has been unveiled months before its official public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show in September. The Volkswagen Golf rival uses an all-new platform and is up to 140kg lighter than the current 308. 

The outgoing 308 was never the best looking car in its class, but it was spacial enough to get itself noticed. In a see of bland grey company cars, this satin blue car stands out even more than it normally would because of the guys from Re-Styling Russia. 

The New Peugeot 308 is the latest evidence of the brand’s move up-market. It’s an initiative started several years ago and seen most recently with the 208 and 2008. The initial design brief of the New 308 had the highest levels of quality at its core. This ambition has guided the designers and engineers from the very start of the project. 

Peugeot offers the 308 with naturally-aspirated 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines, a naturally-aspirated 1.6-litre diesel, a 2.0 litre turbo diesel and as tested a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol. Euro5 compliant and running direct injection, the 1.6-litre delivers a handy 115kW of power at 6000rpm and peak torque of 240Nm from 1400rpm. Driving through a six-speed automatic transmission, the Peugeot 308 Touring accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 9.7 seconds.

This new Bristol super car coupe has yet to be released yet alone teased, but there are chances that the super car may borrow the powertrain from the 2009 Giugiaro Namir Supercar Concept. This means that the new super car will have four separate motors, each driving a wheel mated to an additional 800cc Wankel rotary engine charging up the plethora of lithium-ion batteries. 

Now Bristol wants to hit that 200 mph mark one more time, but this time in a new extended-range electric GT supercar. The model is still in its development process and will be shown in concept form at the end of this year. 

The original production version will be unveiled at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, with the production version to cost less than £ 200.000, as stated by the president and owner of Bristol, Kamal Siddiqi. The Bristol Motors bought in 2011 from Kamkorp Autokraft which is a subsidiary of Frazer Nash , a company specialized in the manufacturing of hybrid and electric cars. 

The Giugiaro Namir was a hybrid that produced 400 hp from four electric motors combined with an 814 cc endothermic rotary engine. Expectations of an 800 cc Wankel rotary engine in the Bristol GT will serve as the generator to supply the power for the four electric engines.

Japanese automaker Nissan has launched the special edition Juke N-Tec in the United Kingdom. Based on the Acenta Premium model, the new crossover is priced from £16,295. 

 The Nissan Juke is breaking the mould of what a crossover should deliver. Designed and built in the UK, this is a model that features the best of British design, whether in the aesthetic appeal of its flowing curves, or the incorporation of cutting-edge technology such as the Nissan Connect satellite navigation system. This intuitive and multifunctional 3D touchscreen system provides more than just navigational tools. Detroit Electric revealed its new SP:01 electric sports car (pictured) at Detroit's historic Fisher Building Wednesday the same place where the company's headquarters are located marking the rebirth of a marque that had been dormant since 1939. And while the first SP:01 cars won't even be built until August, the company is already looking to the future, promising two more vehicle launches before the end of 2014. 

Surprisingly enough, the new electric cars won't be just some variants of the SP:01, but different vehicles altogether, the US company planning to introduce a sedan and a hatchback for "everyday practical usage". 

Power is supplied by a 201-horsepower AC electric motor situated behind the driver. According to Detroit Electric, the car's two battery packs can be charged in 4.3 hours at 240 volts and 32 amps (or 8 hours at 13 amps) and give it a driving range of about 180 miles. Production of the SP:01 will be limited to 999 units and buyers can choose between a four-speed manual and optional two-speed automatic transmission. 

 In addition to private investors, Detroit Electric is apparently in talks with the U.S. government and the State of Michigan for funding sources. That could mean the company wants a piece of the alternative-fuel loans that help helped fund other startups like Tesla Motors and Fisker Automotive. Detroit Electric is currently developing a “full-scale” distribution network to sell the cars nationwide.

Don Panoz is determined to power on with his DeltaWing project, now without the backing of Nissan. Evidence of Panoz’s commitment has just been revealed in Sebring with the first image of a new DeltaWing Coupé being published. 

The new DeltaWing Coupe has been specially designed to comply with the new 2014 LMP1 regulations and will include a new tub and wider driver greenhouse, and, of course, its new hardtop configuration. On the coupe version, the driver will sit in the middle of the cockpit, rather than on the left- or right-hand side. 

 The team has continued to develop the DeltaWing independently following the departure of former technical partner Nissan and the concept’s originator Ben Bowlby.
