Not to be outdone by Nissan turbo that has been buried in the Juke and GT-R, Toyota is now preparing to bring the Camry is equipped with Turbo devices in the machine. Reporting from Worldcarfans, Tuesday (07/28/2015), the Japanese sedan is expected to be launched next year.
A four-cylinder engine with a turbocharged 2.0-liter will be the new occupant right under the hood of the Camry. The machine will replace the V6 that is also used in some of Toyota products. However, Toyota has not replacing the four-cylinder engine with Turbo, to obtain a perfect combustion and continuously variable transmissions (CVT) new.
"Powertrain is an area where we can see how much fuel efficiency," said Andrew Coetzee, Toyota's group vice president for product planning.
In addition to Toyota, Honda also has pinned Civic turbo engine. Debuting this year, the latest Civic reinforced engine turbocharged 1.5 liter four-cylinder.
Not only the Honda Civic will also be pinned turbo in Accord and CR-V.
